We are looking for one or two energetic master thesis student(s) to develop a feasibility study related to eSIM architecture. Over the last years the telecom industry has focused a lot on developing eSIM, driven by device manufacturers and IoT use cases. Several wearables have lately hit the market with eSIM support and in October Apple released their first iPhone with support for eSIM. Mobile operators across the world are starting to support eSIM and 3 was the first operator in Sweden to launch this in November 2018.
CellRebel is a fast growing startup in the telecom space with solutions targeting both consumers and companies such as mobile operators. We have developed a concept related to eSIM and we are looking for one or two skilled MSc student to come onboard and write a Master Thesis in the area.
The skills we would like to see in the student(s) are:
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Innovative thinking
- Ability to work independently
- Overall understanding of telecom networks
- Knowledge in Charging and BSS systems of telecom operators is a plus
- Software development skills (in e.g. Java, C++, Python etc)
Good compensation will be given to the students and possibilities to be hired are high for students performing a good project.
