Bud Marketing Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to strategically drive the growth of the Budweiser brand in the France and Netherlands markets. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Budweiser Marketing Director of Europe & Middle East.

 

Your primary focus will be on developing commercially integrated strategies to enhance Bud's brand presence and engage consumers across these key regions. Additionally, you will lead and oversee a dedicated team of senior brand managers and brand managers, ensuring the effective implementation of your strategies.

 

A crucial aspect of your role includes ensuring the successful delivery of Budweiser's local 3-Year/1-Year Plan (3YP/1YP) strategy and execution in France and the Netherlands. This will involve close collaboration with local sales teams to ensure the seamless integration of marketing communications and toolkit deployment, enhancing our market reach and brand impact in these regions.

The role :

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company objectives
  • Managing a team of Senior Brand Managers and Brand Managers
  • Uses data analysis for insights & articulates brand issues and opportunities
  • Developing 360 integrated activities leveraging creative platform across consumer touch points
  • Project management skills to deliver activation on time & on budget
  • Clear communication of activities & execution standards to channel & sales
  • Tracking and evaluating strategy & activation to reapply learning & optimise performance
  • Identify & manage commercial drivers to optimise the brand P&L
  • Evaluate activity effectiveness & efficiency to optimise marketing mix investment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and external agencies to ensure cohesive brand messaging
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and media partners
  • Stay abreast of the latest marketing trends and technologies
  • Define and manage the brand strategy and execution (3YP & 1YP) for Bud in BNFL (Full IMC) in collaboration with local sales teams
  • Act as a BNFL Level lead for Bud on the Budweiser Leadership Team
  • Bud Marketing Manager BNFL role will be based in the Paris, France office with requirements to travel frequently to the Netherlands and Belgium (up to 2-3 trips per month)

What we are looking for :

  • Strong cultural fit
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications
  • Proven knowledge of our business or clear aptitude to learn – understanding of the customer, consumer, brand agenda
  • Strong inter-personal relationship and communication skills with proven ability to influence and manage key stakeholders
  • Prior brand, leadership and project management experience
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking including demonstrating basic financial acumen and budget management
  • Takes leadership of own personal development and demonstrate leadership and development of others
  • Attention to detail and mobility
  • Fluency in English, French and Dutch
  • High level of curiosity and desire to learn
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills required. Must demonstrate analytical and strategic thinking, as well as good creative judgement
