The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria. VIE Main Requirements: • European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old • Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any For more information: http://www.civiweb.com/international/default.html (in English, German, Italian and Spanish) The contract duration of VIE is 24 months. A VIE for a (Digitalisation Manager) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft / HuaOu Training Company in Beijing. You will join the Flight Training Department. HuaOu Training Company is providing a wide range of training to Chinese airlines operating Airbus aircraft, A320, A330 and A350. The Flight Training Department is in charge of training airline pilots. A group of highly experienced airline instructor pilots are delivering training on a wide range of training courses ranging from type rating training to instructor training and Evidence Based Training. You will be in charge of the Digitalisation project, supporting the department's transformation efforts, as well as supporting the major project of providing EBT services to airlines Your main tasks will include: • Digitalisation of the trainees and instructors files in accordance local rules and regulations • Development and Implementation of the EBT administrative support to airlines, including deployment of EBT supporting tools • Administrate the access of documentation to instructors (MyATO local page) • Optimize the management of training performance data This role will involve occasional travel for business in China and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. Required skills You have the following skills and experience: • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Civil Aviation engineering or regulations or Airline Operations (or related discipline). • 2 to 3 years of experience in airline operations or flight training (apprenticeships and internship) in addition you are capable to demonstrate the following skills: • Ability to work in a multicultural environment • Communication and ability to speak in public • Ability to combine regulatory requirements and autonomy • Language Skills: advanced/negotiation level of English is a must. Any level in Chinese is a plus
