The student assistant will support with execution and coordination of selected tasks relating to Maersk’s third party management compliance process. This process focus is mainly on integrity risks such as anti-corruption, sanctions and human rights. The student assistant will work directly with the managers in our third party management projects and handle tasks primarily relating to registration and integrity due diligence of third parties using business intelligence databases.
As this project has a high focus on the handling a large number of third parties, it is a requirement for the ideal candidate to have an eye for detail and a systematic work approach.
While the focus initially is on registration and integrity due diligence of third parties, the scope may gradually be extended. This is subject to the working student’s interests, development goals and performance.

Who we are looking for

A person who is proactive, eager to learn and works systematically with an eye for detail.
Currently you are pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in Finance, Economics, Law, Business, or any related field - combined with work experience through internships or student jobs.
You are a team player with high integrity and personal ethics. You are professional in your communication and have a desire to grow in a complex globally operating organization.
Furthermore you are:
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and in writing
  • Able to perform detailed work accurately and within agreed deadlines
  • Experienced in doing online research and preferably using specific third party compliance screening tools
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office 365 (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Team-oriented, with an ability to value a diverse and geographically dispersed team
  • Able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Able to prioritize tasks for timely adherence to deadlines
  • Able to collect and validate data, retain and follow up meticulously.
