Job Overview
The Pension Data Compliance Analyst is responsible for reviewing and validating existing controls for all HR data used in conjunction with retirement benefits. The Pension Data Compliance Analyst will also identify opportunities for additional controls, implement those controls and control testing. Perform ongoing audits of internal and key controls related to HR data.
Scope includes (as they relate to retirement benefits):

  • Vendor processes: Willis Towers Watson
  • Third parties: Mercer, BDO
  • Internal systems: PeopleSoft HR, CHRIS, CHRYMS
  • Data warehouse Transactions: employee/retiree self-serve, actuarial valuation data extract, retiree payroll payments

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Actuarial or related
  • Experience with Excel, Word, Access or other data analytics software
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Demonstrate integrity with confidential information
  • Must have ability to manage multiple projects, work within established deadlines and interact with third parties (e.g., vendors, auditors and consultants)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of classes in accounting, math or finance
  • Project management skills
  • CEBS, ASPPA or Actuarial designation
  • Knowledge of benefit plan audits, PeopleSoft HR, FCA systems, and SOX controls
