We are looking for a Nordic Junior Underwriter who will be temporarily covering for a maternity leave of 12 months. In this role, you will be working in our Business Unit Warranty & Service Programs.

Here we work mainly with consumer insurances through partnerships. For example, with large retailers or organizations, that have a broad customer database and distribution networks, suitable for offering and selling our insurance products, also known as Affinity insurance or B2B2C.

This position is reporting to the Head of Warranty and Service Programs who is based in our Stockholm office.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for supporting the team on a daily basis. Your tasks will include everything from writing customer facing information, booking premiums, to managing the performance of the accounts and much more. For example:

  • Renewing accounts according to AIG processes
  • Monitoring the performance on an account level
  • Contributing to the growth of existing relationships
  • Initiating new partnerships aligned to local insurance product appetite and capability
  • Growing relationships with clients, sponsors and brokers
  • Help with implementing new business deals, policies, guidelines and procedures


We are looking for a self- driven, proactive individual who is eager to show initiative. You are result- and solution oriented and are keen to execute tasks in a timely manner.    


We believe that you have

  • Relevant educational background (Business Degree or similar)
  • Structured, organized, and analytical mindset
  • Excellent level of verbal and written English (Danish and Scandinavian languages are a plus)
  • Eagerness to take responsibility and work at your own initiative
  • Previous experience working within Affinity Insurance Programs it is a plus but not a must
