Automation Engineer

Job Description
Basic understanding of BIOS/UEFI environments, and experience in automation, validation background and good understand of PSS, Post silicon environments. Experience on Design and Developing of automation solutions for UEFI, IFWI modules, test automation scripts, content for IP's and and provide automation solution for Client and Server IP's and legacy features. Creates flows/scripts to analyze and tests, design test methodologies, Integration of tests on various configuring across Client/Server automation platforms. Coordinates Client and Server Platform automation requirements, maps them to automation systems capabilities, and recommends technical solutions. Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation system problems. Experience on debugging and troubleshooting Skills or sys-debug experience. Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems health goals and anticipate future enhancements.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job.

Minimum Requirements

Candidate must have a Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or relevant engineering field with 5 to 7 years of direct industry experience on Firmware-Security.

Preferred Qualifications:

Firmware, IFWI BIOS UEFI expertise on Server Client platforms with exposure to Automation Design, development and testing is advantage.
Automation experience in BIOS/UEFI expertise on Server/Client platforms and good understanding of PSS and POST Silicon automation environment is advantage. Experience in coding in C/C++ and Python, Perl tcl and Shell scripting is a plus Scripts and prior automation validation is a plus. Good hands on exposure to IFWI, BIOS debug activities is a plus.
