In the Corporate Human Resources unit, we are responsible for managing HR work in the BASF Group. By developing focused HR guidelines, we implement the corporate strategy on employee-related topics. In addition, we design instruments for the development and retention of senior executives, provide them with operational support in personnel matters and are responsible for their strategic succession planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a working student in the area of People Analytics/Reporting within the unit Corporate Human Resources - Data & Digitalization , you will contribute to improving our data-driven and evidence-based approach to develop best-in-class leaders who act with confidence, courage, empathy and optimism to create chemistry for a sustainable future.

  • To create a foundation for decision-making, you will extract data from personal systems and link it with other information.
  • With your innovative thinking, you will be able to find new ways to gain insights from our leadership and pipeline data and put them into action.
  • Together with the team, you will develop concepts and implement dashboards for evidence-based control of leadership development.
  • Your innovative thinking has sparked your interest in exploring and testing AI options for the unit.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • advanced stage of an IT-oriented and/or psychological Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • knowledge of data research, analysis, and visualization
  • first experiences with SQL, R, Python, or another programming language for data processing and analysis, e.g. Alteryx
  • ideally, knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • first experiences in the use of artificial intelligence (AI)
  • fluent communication in English
