Job Description

HOW CAN YOU HELP US?

In a nutshell: Are you a finance enthusiast with a passion for driving financial success? Are you experienced in P&L and reporting? Do you value interacting with multiple stakeholders all around the world? Do you thrive in fast-moving environments? Then this role might be the one for you!

What team will I be part of? You will be working in the Group Business Line Controlling team, based in our main corporate office in Brussels. You will be mentored by a Senior Controller and support our business leaders.

As a Junior Business Line Controller, you will:

Be a key point of contact for financial and controlling matters to our Group Executive Vice Presidents, also members of the executive committee.

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting of the business lines and their business units, explaining main variances in P&L, net working capital, Capex and all other relevant financial matters.

Conduct analysis on deviations between actuals and budgets, making suggestions to bridge gaps, and monitor the action plans taken.

Work closely with controllers in the business units and/or on a national level to get a good understanding of the business situation.

Qualifications

ARE YOU OUR KIND OF EXTRAORDINARY?

Your profile should combine solid analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as stellar interpersonal skills.

Background: a first experience (e.g. internship) as a controller or financial analyst, or as an auditor. Experience in a head office setting is a plus.

Education: Finance, Economics or Business Master’s degree.

Languages: English proficiency is a must, as it will be your mail language of communication. Other languages are highly appreciated.

Technical knowledge (IT): You will need MS Office skills with advanced level in Excel. Knowledge of VBA is a plus.
