Our Order Management Specialist will be part of a dynamic team of 6 people working directly with our bar and restaurant customers across Bavaria. Priority goal is to speak with our customers and ensure all orders are entered on time in full, whilst working closely with our warehouse and sales colleagues to solve ad-hoc issues that pop up for us or the customer during deliveries and day to day activities. Long term goal of digitization, change management and transformation is also key to the scope.

What will you be doing:  

  •  Verify availability of products and respond to questions about alternatives, prices and order value all while considering the customer specific master data (delivery days, delivery difficulty, delivery instructions)
  • Manage orders in SAP (ERP) system
  • Closely work and continuous contact with scheduling (Dachau), direct-distribution support (Munich),  Transport planning (Disponents Dachau), own team (Order taking Prague) as well as internal or external customers per E-mail or phone
  • Support to structural improvements (PDCA & Risk Management follow-up) & projects, SLA, KPI and Excellence Program dashboard tracking support
  • Fully understand functions of robotized and automated process steps with the ability to escalate and intervene in case of issues
  • Teaching process to new comers and managing of simple processes & projects (Help coordinate day-to-day workload with junior team members)

What you'll bring:  

  • C1 in English and German is required
  • Prior experience within a customer service or supply chain role is beneficial but not required
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system is beneficial but not required
  • MS Excel skills – vlookup, pivot tables
  • Experience with process improvement is advantageous  
  • Customer centric and problem solving mindset
  • Work on own initiative and prioritize workload effectively (challenge ways of working with ideas)
