Job Description

The AP Accountant performs a wide variety of administrative and clerical support to the organization by completing payments and controlling expenses, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices following the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.

Activities and duties will vary depending upon the functional area assigned. Activities may include, but are not limited to
  • Responsible for the month-end closing AP accounting activities, prepare analysis for AP Related Journal Entries
  • Notify suppliers of payments made by sending payment details
  • Update supplier account information
  • Book & Register invoices received from Suppliers, and Report & Analyze AP Aging in a Timely manner
  • Prepare, Send and Reconcile C-16 Report with Intercompany Partners.
  • Analyze financial reports and records, making studies or recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets and expenditures.
  • Audit, review and verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0 - 2 years experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures.
  • Good typing and data entry skills.
  • Accurate math and analytical skills.
  • Good collaboration & teamwork skills
  • Good organizational and attention to detail skills.
