Opportunity for master’s graduates (Finance, Accounting and Control, Financial Management and related subjects) to become part of our group.

Our business is only sustainable if we are able to convert sales growth into higher profits and cash. This requires a keen eye on financial performance and the proper safeguarding of our reporting requirements. Finance helps companies steer their businesses properly and identify opportunities for improvement. In addition to this, our financial professionals are responsible for all of the group’s external financial reporting.

We see that our young talents play an important role in implementing new solutions for monitoring financial performance and bringing our internal controls and financial reporting to the next level. In this way, we can develop and monitor financial improvements and promote discussions with decision makers in different departments, from purchasing, R&D and production to sales and marketing. This requires organizational skills and analytical power to manage improvement projects and safeguard compliance with reporting requirements. Almost every finance job requires problem-solving skills, and some of your day-to-day tasks involve understanding complex problems. We highly appreciate the ability young talents have to analytically challenge our current way of working.

Energy

  • Broadview Energy Solutions (NL), Barents NaturGass (NO), Aritas (TR) and DMT Environmental Technology (NL)

The current energy portfolio focuses on the growing category of small scale distribution of liquefied natural gas (LNG) as a viable and cleaner alternative.

The move to natural gas as an alternative to fuel oil and gasoil enables clients in off-grid industry, heavy duty trucking and shipping to lower emissions while saving fuel costs. The scope also includes other parts of the natural gas value chain such as gas storage and equipment manufacturing. Furthermore, related fields such as bio fuels and renewable power generation have our interest.

The International Graduate Programme

The International Graduate Programme is our way of investing in young talents who have just graduated from university while developing future leaders for the companies in our business portfolio.

Over a period of 18 months, you will work on two or three challenging projects in different countries and companies within the group. If you strive to get the most out of yourself and to make an impact in an international environment, this is a powerful start to your career.

We offer projects linked to business analytics, engineering, R&D, sustainability and legal as a first step inside the group companies.

Who is the programme for?

  • To participate, you require a master’s degree. The most relevant study backgrounds are technology and business focused. However we are open to other directions in combination with relevant internship experience. Especially chemical engineering, materials science/engineering, chemistry, process engineering and sustainability related graduates are encouraged to apply.

As you will be relocated during the programme, previous experience of living abroad indicates that you will be able to adjust to living in another country. It is essential that you have a good command of both spoken and written English. Ability in other European languages is considered an asset.

Selection

We recruit, select and hire trainees throughout the year. Our selection process is quick and generally consists of the following steps:

  • CV screening
  • To assess academic results, international experience and affinity
  • A Skype interview
  • To get to know you and understand your motivation
  • An online assessment
  • An analytical capabilities tests
  • A final, face to face round
  • With senior management at one of our offices
  • This involves a business case presentation

Right after the final round, a decision will be made as to whether or not you will be offered a place on the programme.
