Job Description

Within the Unit Control Assurance we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.

The mission of the Unit Control Assurance is the coordination of the activities aimed at assisting the Group Entities to monitor the application of the Compliance processes (CP) and developing and maintaining an effective compliance controls system (CCS) to fulfill obligations and to ensure that organizations adhere to rules.

The Unit team monitors the adequacy and effectiveness of the CP and CCS, accuracy and completeness of control reporting, compliance with internal policies and market regulations, timely remediation of deficiencies.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Support the evaluation of the comprehensive Compliance Process in term of coherence, adequacy and effectiveness
  • Support the activities related to the maintenance of the control methodologies and tools


Requirements

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Must have:
  • 3 + years of work experience in the insurance / financial industry of which at least 2 years of work experience in the Compliance/Risk management Function or Audit Function
  • Good knowledge of the best practice of the control assurance methodology (controls set up, test of design, test of effectiveness, analysis of mitigation factors)
  • Experience in international and very challenging projects (in terms of time and delivery). The candidate must have had a crucial role (e.g. PMO)
  • Proven analytical skills (including data mining experience and databases management) and information scrutiny/elaboration
  • Strong experience in executive reporting
  • Advanced use of MS Office (excel and PPT)
  • In his daily work the candidate must have had a continuous interaction with the control functions/ particular network (e.g. compliance network) that requires a good interaction skills and inclination to build lasting and trusting relationships
  • Willing to travel on business


Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of additional foreign languages (e.g. Spanish, French, German)
  • Work experience in more than one country
  • Project management skills
  • Consulting background
