What is your role and surroundings?

The Group Transport Performance apprentice is accountable to support the Group Transport Performance & Sustainability Team in the deployment of the methodologies and tools to improve the efficiency of our transport organization and to reduce its CO2 impact.

What will be your main missions?
  • Ensure proper usage of our transport performance tools (measurement of the transport performance, of the Fulfillment of our trucks, or the effiency of our transports not managed through our TMS...)
  • With our CO2 Logistics Manager, develop our internal model to calculate the Transport CO2 emissions
  • Integrate the Transport CO2 emissions calculation model into Palantir and further develop this tool so that users of the Forvia Supply Chain network can use it in their daily job.
  • Based on the methodologies used in the different Business Groups, develop a Packaging CO2 assesment tool that could be used worldwide in our development phases.
  • Support the CO2 Logistics Manager to define the means to follow the impact of the transport CO2 reduction levers.
  • Support management in the implementation of PC&L tools and provide technical support.
  • Ensure Know-how capitalization and check that standard methodologies are used.

Team Management, Training & Communication
  • Meet the code of conduct of the Company and promote it within her/his team. Behave as a "role model", according to the "Being Faurecia" spirit
  • Provide support (technical/managerial) to her/his team and escalade issues to his manager, when required
  • Cascade all important information to her/his team, provide reporting to her/his manager

What you need to join us?
  • Master's degree in industrial or supply-chain management
  • Multi-functional & multi-cultural communication,
  • First experience in the Supply Chain is appreciated
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to analyze and visualize data through different systems (MS Excel, MS Access, Power BI, other tools)
  • Team spirit / Autonomy / Resiliency / Openness to new ideas / Priorities management
