As Finance Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to Ocean Procurement and Strategic Partnerships organizations, in matters related to cost management, financial analysis, business planning and performance management.

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Establishes a metrics driven performance framework for Ocean Procurement and ensures that financial targets are delivered by linking procurement initiatives to group financials.
  • Drives a continuous cost improvement mindset and proactively identifies opportunities to optimize costs by utilizing data driven spend analysis for key commodities and suppliers in Ocean business.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders and FP&A to ensure Ocean Procurement inputs are captured when developing Maersk’s cost outlook.
  • Reports periodic performance against the plan and rolling forecast clearly articulating value driven by procurement initiatives.
  • Partners with supplier relationship management (SRM) to influence financial aspects of strategic supplier relationships in Ocean.
  • Drives high level of engagement with business stakeholders by building relationships across the Ocean Procurement organisation.

  • High degree of proficiency with financial systems and analytical tools.
  • Be a clear and concise communicator.
