CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and deliver policy shaping programs to accelerate go-to-market strategy in AbbVie product therapeutic areas.
  • Build and maintain a network of health policy opinion leaders and political decision makers (working level) to engage on topics relevant for AbbVie.
  • Collaborate with industries partners to advocate healthcare environment preferred policies.
  • Monitor changes and competitive situation in the environment to anticipate risks and opportunity for access.
  • Associate assigned access projects to maximize patient access.
  • Early information on political/policy developments to the cross-functional teams (commercial, PA/PR, MA) that are working on the launch of new products or indications across all TA by analyzing threats and opportunities and developing solutions/engagement plans.
  • Support GM in organizations tasks such as industry association and trade chamber meeting with respects to policy shaping efforts.
Key stakeholders:
1. Internal: MAS&NPI, PA&PR, KAM, Commercial
2. External:
a. Chambers and industrial association: AmCham, AIT, ECCT, IRPMA, CAPA, TPMMA
b. Government managed healthcare environment: MOHW, NHIA, HPA
c. Access project stakeholders
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Good presentation, effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and with a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above of public health, business administration, law or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical or device company access or policy setting (optional)
Preferred qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing insight -driven strategic behavior is preferred.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of Taiwan healthcare system, familiar with national policy making mechanism, access background is preferred.
  • Good learner with good attitude is preferred.
