Depending on the team you join, you will have different kinds of tasks:

  • You'll give advice about all aspects of taxation: global tax compliance, corporate tax, personal tax, and indirect tax
  • You'll learn all there is to know about tax and put it into practice
  • You'll assist in preparing income tax returns
  • You may assist with the innovation and transformation of tax processes
  • You'll assist Deloitte Private as they strive to help SMEs and family businesses with tax compliance and their relationship with the tax authorities
  • You'll analyse client files and solve problems where needed
  • You'll assist with orientation interviews with the client

  • You are in the final year of your bachelor or master's degree or in your pre-final master year
  • You are highly motivated, and a reliable team player with a sense of initiative
  • You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and have a good knowledge of English

Practical information

During the internship, you'll develop your soft and technical skills and expand your network as you work with professionals who share their experience and coach you. A dedicated promoter will connect with you bi-weekly to evaluate your progress and assist you when needed. You will also be assigned a buddy, whom you can reach out to at all times! You and your buddy will have several informal meet-ups on a weekly basis to discuss day-to-day issues and solutions.
