Key responsibilities

Join our Asset Strategy & Strategic Partnerships function, where we focus on optimizing our asset portfolio to drive growth and ensure top-notch customer experiences. As a development manager, you'll play a vital role in achieving these objectives and supporting the expansion of our business. Be part of our high-performing team and help Maersk deliver on its commitment to customers.
Other responsibilities
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and technology integration within the scope of L&S.
  • Explore and implement best practices around new technology together with the business, also with eye towards potential disruptors.
  • Execute supplier development strategy together with category managers and regional procurement teams.
  • Leverage existing partnerships with key global L&S suppliers to better develop and enhance the digital product offering for our customers.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate has a good understanding of logistics technologies, such as warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, IoT, and data analytics. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to effectively translate complex insights into understandable, simple messages for all stakeholders.
Ideally you have previous experience in procurement or asset management and a university degree in Information Technology, Transportation Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other relevant field.

  • A proactive self-starter who can take ownership, work independently, and achieve results.
  • A team player, who understands the importance of stakeholder management and diversity.
  • Comfortable with international travel – potentially up to approximately 25% per annum
